Business & Organisation Members We're delighted to welcome as members businesses and organisations from across the Moors (and beyond) that support our aims. Please support them whenever you can!  If you would like to become a member, we would love to hear from you. You can join us here.

The long-established law firm of Crombie Wilkinson, based in North Yorkshire, covers a wide range of legal matters including conveyancing, wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate and inheritance tax planning, elder client legal services, probate, family law, mediation, business law, and dispute resolution.
They have offices in Pickering, Malton, York, and Selby for in-person appointments, alongside virtual appointments, and offer a discount on their legal services to NYMA members. We are delighted that they are supporting us as they gradually expand their activities across the area.
The beautiful 'mouseman' furniture created by Robert Thompson's Craftsmen in the Moors village of Kilburn needs little introduction. Established in the 1940s, the enterprise continues from strength to strength, creating oak furniture and gifts to grace any home. A fascinating Museum on the same site as the shop displays work by founder Robert Thompson himself.
Soroptimist International
Soroptimist International of Scarborough is one of 19 Soroptimist International (SI) clubs in Yorkshire.
SI is a worldwide women's organisation whose mission is to make a difference to the lives of women and girls. They work on projects supporting women locally, nationally and internationally, including raising awareness of women's issues, fundraising - and enjoying much friendship and fun in the process! Any woman can join us - new members are very welcome.
As a thriving market town just north of the National Park, Guisborough is the principal 'gateway to the Moors' from Middlesbrough and Teesside. It's an excellent base for visitors wishing to explore the wide open spaces of moorland and coast.
The Town Council owns and operates from the Georgian Grade 2 listed Sunnyfield House, which is also a community centre where important community services, events and recreational group sessions are delivered. The Council has supported the Guisborough Town Hall Gateway CIC by making donations for the Information Centre in the recently renovated Town Hall; this also has shops and accommodation for larger groups.

The Yorkshire Association of Tourist Guides has expertise in 'all things Yorkshire'. Trained to the highest standards, their guides take visitors on a magnificent journey through our region with their entertaining and engaging tours. All members have the prestigious Blue Badge – the highest accreditation in tourist guiding.

We are very pleased that the website design company It'seeze Ryedale is a Business Member of NYMA. Run by local businessman Rob Davies, It'seeze creates editable and affordable websites for businesses across the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast. In fact, NYMA’s own website is created by It'seeze!
Ride Yorkshire runs guided rides within the North York Moors and other parts of Yorkshire, and provides a wide choice of horse-friendly accommodation and self-guided route-maps so that riders can plan their own holidays. People on holiday in our region, or without a horse of their own, can choose from several excellent riding and trekking centres in the North York Moors and elsewhere to explore the moorland and forests on horseback.
Basement Press is a family business based in Glaisdale and run by Nicola Chalton and Pascal Thivillon. They publish a quarterly magazine, ‘Esk Valley News’, celebrating rural life in the Esk Valley, Whitby and elsewhere in the North York Moors. Their writing and editorial skills are deployed across the UK in magazine and book publishing, with plenty of satisfied local and London-based clients. NYMA members will be familiar with their design skills in ‘Voice of the Moors’ - a good example of what they can do!
Joining NYMA as a Business or Organisation member costs £40 per year, giving you publicity for your business or group and supporting our campaigns and projects. Apply for membership here.
